Experiment ‘Control your own Data’

The goal of the ‘Control your own Data’ project is that a citizen of Boxtel can subscribe to the local social housing organisation by collecting data at the municipality and making it available to the housing organisation.

With the Dappre app, the citizen scans a QR code on the municipality website. This creates a secure connection between the citizen and the municipality. Then the citizen signs in with DigiD at the municipality to obtain a relevant set of personal data, namely initials, name, address and gender. This information is made available to the housing organisation via the infrastructure of the Qiy Trust Framework. Result: The citizen is registered at the housing organisation in a few simple steps and the housing organisation in turn has received validated data from the future tenant.

Contributing parties: VNG / KING, City of Boxtel, Saint Joseph’s housing organisation, Digital Me, Enable-U and Wind Internet.
